Second time using the service. I was looking to get some limited items that could only be purchased in store. Yumi called the store in advance to make sure the items I wanted were still in stock.Once everything was confirm to be in stock I received an invoice and the items were purchased in the same day.
I highly recommend anyone interested in the service to not hesitate and try it out for themselves. I find that it is a great way to get hard to find exclusive items sold only in japan.

There was a specific item I’ve been trying to hunt down for five years or so and it was so rare that eventually I started thinking that I somehow had imagined the item to exist. But then I found it on Mercari and thanks to Yumi, I finally managed to get my hands on an item I consider to be one of my personal holy grails.

If your looking for limited in store only items then you should definitely use Yumi’s service.
This is my first time ever using a personal shopper and the service was perfect. The items I wanted were only sold in stores for a limited time in Akihabara. During the process I was given up to date info as my items were being purchases.
Packaging was great and everything arrived in perfect condition. Items were bubble wrapped together and securely put into cardboard packaging to prevent everything from moving around during shipping.It was then placed into another larger box with more padding for extra protection. Doing so allowed for the fragile items in my order to not be break during shipping.
If your hesitant because you have never used a personal shopper before, I still highly recommend to at least email some questions you may have or ask for a quote anyways. From there you can decide if a personal shopper is right for you.
