Japan Post updated an information of temporary suspension of acceptance and delivery delays of mail items destined to various countries/territories as below.
https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/information/2020/0423_01_en.html
“The novel coronavirus pandemic has caused many countries/territories to take measures such as stopping acceptance of inbound postal items as well as considerable suspension and reduction of flights from/to Japan. Accordingly, our transportation performance has significantly declined. Therefore, our temporary suspension of acceptance of international mail items, mainly EMS and parcel-post/letter-post items by air and SAL, started on April 2, will be extended for the time being from April 24.”

Hi Vanessa, yes, all kind of air mail to Australia is suspended, and I have to use surface shipping which usually takes two to three months to Australia or even more because of this confusion. I can go to in-store shopping if the store is not crowded. Thank you.
Hello, Is the suspension on shipping to Australia still in place? May I ask when it will be safe for you to return to purchasing items in-store? Thank you and kind regards
